618 Massage and Spa was founded by Lethbridge local siblings, Rosemary and Andrew Snead. They had planned on  opening a business together for years, though the vision wasn’t always clear (at one point, a goat farm was on the table!). Eventually, they realized the true path had been with Rosemary for over 20 years, her career in Massage Therapy.

It was that spark of inspiration that became a shared mission.

In December 2023, Rosemary moved out of 618, the home where she had raised her family. It was time to start something new. The Sneads hired local friends and skilled tradespeople to transform the family home into a self care getaway.
 

From the start of the business ideas, two guiding goals shaped every decision:
 

1. A place where professionals thrive.
Building a safe, supportive space where Registered Massage Therapists and Estheticians could do what they do best. A workplace they could feel proud of. By prioritizing our team’s well-being, providing the tools and environment they need,  we believe true self-care begins with the people who provide it.
 

2. A space where clients feel seen and supported.
Create a welcoming wellness clinic where self-care is just as essential as healthcare. A place where clients can work toward their health and beauty goals without pressure or judgment. Somewhere they can breathe deeply, take up space, and feel truly valued.
